Smiles and Daggers is a language independent card game that tasks players with reading opponents’ empty promises and fake smiles. Following a mechanism that is similar to the Prisoner’s Dilemma, one of the most famous models of Game Theory, players have to collect a certain number of gold coins. In order to do that, they have to bilaterally challenge each other, while other players can bet on challenges’ outcome. By working together, collecting gold coins is easier. Nevertheless, eliminating other players’ cards is sometime necessary.
